So, I've been posting in here every once in a while, but I recently realized that all of my posts have been private. Whoops. Well, I turned that off, so you should see me on here more often.
I've been writing a lot in my real journal. A LOT. I actually was in Barnes and Noble for quite some time today writing. When I came out, I happened to bump into Shandon. It was good to see her, it had been awhile.
I watched a movie with Amy tonight called "The Gingerdead Man." It was awful, which I expected, but unfortunately not quite as funny-awful as I had hoped. Maybe I was just tired when I was watching it though.
I went over to Avondale tonight to say hey to Tyler. It was weird going in there, we played so many shows there back in the day with Seneca, Secret Lives, One-Six Conspiracy, The Paris Centerfold, and all kinds of other bands.
I actually have this new memory recall strategy that I'm trying in my real journal. I made a list of every single person that I could think of who I have known to even a slight extent. Every day I choose a random person, and write everything I can remember about them, and, if it applies, how they have impacted my life. It's amazing the stuff I have remembered about those people and all kinds of other things just from forcing myself to sit down and write, and then using these people as a catalyst to bring back old memories.
So, chances are that if you know me at all, I have written about you or will be writing about you soon.
Anyways, I'm going to try to wake up at a half-decent hour to go work out at the Siskey YMCA tomorrow. Catch ya later.

I forgot to mention earlier that my car is totaled. Woohoo.
Over Thanksgiving break I was driving back to Winston, and I got smacked from behind by a truck that did not stop on the interstate when everyone else did. I was fine, but I was hit so hard that my transmission was messed up, and my car is not worth enough to put in a new transmission, hence it is totaled.
The good news is that we're getting some money from the insurance company, yay.
If anyone is ever bored, come stay with me up at Wake. I'm an RA so I have my own room, and it is made for two people, so I have lots of floorspace to sleep on. Yeezzzzz.
School is fun and everything, but there's really not many people here that I relate with. I don't drink, I don't like partying, I'm into hardcore, and I enjoy French. Not exactly the Wake Forest stereotype.

The last few days have been extremely hectic. Wednesdays are always crazy because that's when we do most of the work on the newspaper, which comes out every Thursday. I'm writing two articles for the next issue. It's nice being the guy in charge of the news section, because I can write the stories that I like, and assign out the ones I don't.
At the end of the month I'm going to San Fransisco for a conference with two other editors from the paper. It should be a fun time.
Last night around 2 am or so, I was watching some of The Office with Gary, and suddenly my phone rings and it says "RH". I answer, and I hear RH say, "Suck my dick." So I just say, "Hey RH". I then hear tons of laughter from the other end.
Apparently Joe, RH, Rob, Stew, Daniel, and some other guys were all hanging out and decided to call me. I really do miss those guys a lot. Once I get a car I'm going to start spending more time in Charlotte.
I want to practice and play shows more, but I just don't have the time. I really do like FHAR's music, I wish I could invest more of myself in it.
By the way, if anyone wants to help me with this, I'm trying to figure out who has what livejournal these days. Everything has switched around and people have new names and stuff. A lot of the people I'm friends with don't write anymore, but maybe they have new ones or what not. Oh well, I guess I'll just try to figure it out.

So here's a quick update on my life -
I'm a sophomore at Wake Forest University
I'm an RA in a freshman dorm
I'm news editor at the school newspaper here, The Old Gold & Black
I'm a tour guide on campus
I have a radio show on WAKEradio Mondays at 4 pm
I have friends at school, but not like the friends I used to have
I'm studying abroad in Dijon, France next semester
I'm going to do some kind of major and double minor combination of French, English, and History
I still play in For Hope and Revenge, but rarely just because I'm so busy at school
My car got totaled over Thanksgiving break because some dumbass nailed me on the interstate. I was fine, but my car was not
I'm dating a girl named Lauren who is a senior at my high school, we've been dating off and on since I graduated high school
If anyone is reading this who I haven't talked to in awhile, how are you? I miss all my old livejournal friends.
I'm going to the zoo in a few weeks!
